The inside sales administrator (isa) position is responsible for supporting and maintaining commercial activities that drive both growth and organizational excellence for the industrial solutions (americas) business unit. the isa will actively engage with channel partners, field sales, technical support personnel and inside sales representatives to ensure we maintain efficient and effective commercial processes, including; pricing verification/opportunity record updates, crm training, product training coordination, sales representative commissions and reports, and crm dashboards and scorecards. resolution of po discrepancies (kick-outs) is a core function of this role and intended to drive process improvement down to root cause level. activities: -resolve kick-outs assigned to the inside sales team -inbox management; ensure s are distributed in a timely manner and accurately -as needed, support the customer service team to resolve purchase order discrepancies that arise after the order has been entered -serve as the subject matter expert (sme) for the is americas commercial team, including review of all tickets before submission, and coordinate or conduct training as necessary. -coordinate is product training for internal personnel and external sales representatives and ensure that training resources are comprehensive, readily available and up-to-date -work directly with the sales and commercial finance teams to coordinate the commissions payment process and rulebook for our sales representatives -review available reports to identify potential business trends at specific accounts and coordinate follow-up activities with regional sales personnel. -manage contracts for external sales representatives, including implementation, modifications and expiration upon termination utilizing built in sfdc tools, develop and maintain dashboards to monitor regional performance against established targets.

-maintain sales representative performance scorecards and communicate results to regional sales managers. as necessary, modify or assist in developing new methods for measuring sales rep performance that may better stimulate engagement and regional growth -maintain scheduled reports for regional sales personnel -work directly with marketing to ensure field sales personnel have the tools and resources necessary to support regional growth -support administrative or commercial tasks for the international industrial solutions teams, when necessary -participate in quarterly business reviews with sales representatives and channel partners, as needed -provide back-up support for inside sales representatives cultivate, develop and continuously improve processes and strategies for commercial excellence requirements -associates degree or equivalent and 3-5+ years of customer service or inside sales experience -excellent communication skills and fluent in english (written & verbal) -experience working with or similar crm -proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools -track record of over-achieving metrics -ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time -experience working with erp systems such as oracle, j.d. edwards or similar system skills & competencies: -enthusiastic and commercially focused -team player with integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and capable / willing to work in a diverse environment -excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail -excellent solutions-oriented and problem-solving ability -strong sense of accountability with impeccable follow-up skills -proactive and results-orientated with a positive outlook and willingness to take initiative - strong listening and presentation skills - good business acumen
